Be careful if you get a Sphynx cat. What happened to me may well happen to you. My when my wife first introduced me to the breed my first thought was that they were ugly! It took a year for her to get me to go look at one at the breeder. Once, I did see them in person I completely changed my opinion! They went from an "ugly" cat to the most amazing and interesting cats I have ever known. Yes, quite the transformation. I say be careful because the Sphynx kitten I got became one of the loves of my life and best friend ever! His name was Niles. He was that dark grey color like yours and was my best buddy. My heart was literally broken in half when he passed away six months ago. We were inseparable for his 9 years of wonderful life. I know I will never be over his loss.

I'm researching now to see if I actually want a sphynx, and I love honest videos that focus on all the possible negatives. My current cat is a Bengal, and thanks to people sharing horror stories about them being destructive, both skittish and confident, independent, and noisy... I've not had any nasty surprises with my boy. I fact I find myself warning people he's far better behaved than many Bengals and I'm kinda disappointed he isn't a little more energetic! So far, I think a sphynx will be fantastic. The neediness, the fact they have to be indoors, even the need for bathing and clothing all suit me quite well. I also live in a warmer area that'll suit them, and when it's cold we have a wonderful fireplace that warms the whole house

I'm a very introverted person with mostly long distance friends. I'm considering getting a Sphynx cat. I'm also homeschooled so I'm home a lot. I'm in High School so I'd have to ask my parents first, but I really hope that they approve. Maybe I'll finally have a closer friend 😂

Yeah piercings any piercings can be filled fiddly to change but with me what I do is I don’t have like tons and tons and tons and tons of different jewellery a lot of people have like a way of jewellery that goes with for my tragus jewellery for my Dave jewellery for my snug jewellery for my helix blah blah but I don’t do that I I don’t do that I have my one jewellery so basically what I do is well the piercing is healing I decide my final jewellery and that’s final jewellery that means I’m not changing it I’m not taking it out it’s staying as is and it’s going to have the same jewellery it’s never changing now I do change my first holes from time to time and have different. Jewellery in there or in my second holes but as for anything else I leave my third hole lol my stock lol alone my two helixes my other new helix my defence my Snuggie those will all be left alone I just have my one piece of jewellery I keep in at all times I never change it I never move it I never take it out and I don’t plan to get any more jewellery for them at the jewellery that’s there now is the final jewellery except for the one that is my helix up at the top that I just got that will be changed to a gold hoop at the end once it’s healed and my snug that will be changed to a barbell with my birthstone colour on both ends which route is purple cause I was born in FebruaryAnd that’s it that’s all I will have all of that it’ll stay the same the jewellery will be the same never changing and of course downsizing the jewellery that’s the only other time I will be taking out the jewellery and changing it but once I get to the final jewellery wants us down to the final jewellery put the final Julian it’s done I will not be taking out or removing or having different jewellers to put in it I never do my helix on the very very top my first he likes I ever got from when I was 13 years old ones it was healed I took out the earring that was in there I changed it to a gold hoop and it’s been that forever it’s been that for ages for about 20 years never changed

That doesn’t bother me either having holes in my ears and then permanently there because I have tattoos and I will have my piercings all my life I will never remove them I’ll have them always there they’re just as permanent as my tattoos I will always have them there I’ll never remove them

That’s a con oh piercings do that the helix piercings do that the roof piercings do that the conch the tragus the even low piercings do that nose piercings tongue piercings any sort of piercings lip piercings bellybutton piercings even the down bear piercings leave scars snug piercing that’ll leave a scar as well any piercings will leave a scar now for me mine will never heal over ever once they’re fully healed healed and you’re stuck with that hole forever it’ll never close mine don’t close they stay open and I can leave my piercings out four hours weeks months years and still stick a whole stick a fucking earring in it mine never closes they never close over they don’t even get the thin skin that goes over they don’t close they stay directly open especially once they’re healed the eye only have a small thin window well the piercing is healing if I want to move it or change it there I don’t want that piercing that I only have a small thing window and that’s during welding it is healing and have a healing process but after it’s done healing the hole is there forever so that’s why all my piercings I really think through and all my piercings I know once I have them I’m keeping them forever they’re staying there then I’m not taking out the jewellery Nothing I’m just keeping a man I don’t care I don’t remove the jewellery or nothing I keep it all in like some people they’re lucky they can have their piercings for years and years and then decide I don’t want any piercings anymore and they can take mountain their holes will close up overtime mine don’t mind don’t trust me they want and they don’t the only time they do is if they’re not done healing but after they’re done healing yep they stay wide-open I know this because my mom our daughter first holes done she was little she doesn’t wear earrings too often in the nowadays but the holes are still there they never ever closed up she’s still stick a fucking earring in the right straight through from front to back no issues no IssuesCause that is a con with our piercings is that they are permanent as fuck once they’re healed up the holes never close

I feel like my biggest takeaway from this vid (that I didn't get from others) is the raw food suggestion. That sounds like a game changer. Better nutrition and less poo? I'll definitely be looking into well rounded raw options for cats in the U.S.. Also, thank you for the rest of your honest information. Really helpful! Can you comment on how well sphynx's (or yours) can travel in vehicles? I'm thinking bringing them along on adventures/vacations (with the proper garments and enrichment to keep them comfortable and happy, of course) may be a great way to keep them close, included, and happy?

I find my sphynx cat acts more like a dog more than a a cat. Way more affectionate compared to a regular cat and way more playful and loving.
